The service

Chat QR creates dynamic QR codes that point to a short chat-qr.com link. When a code is scanned we forward the visitor to the content you set. You keep all rights to your content and are responsible for it being lawful.

Free codes and paid plans

Creating codes is free. A free code works for a limited number of scans (currently 6); after that, scanners see a "paused" page until the owner activates a plan. Two plans exist: a monthly subscription (USD 9 per month, cancel anytime, ends at the period end) and a lifetime plan (USD 75 once). Both activate unlimited scans on every code in the account. Prices exclude taxes where applicable.

Refunds

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and are not refunded for the current period. Lifetime plans can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if fewer than 100 scans were served in that time. Write to hello@chat-qr.com.

Acceptable use

You may not use Chat QR for phishing, malware, spam, illegal content, or content that infringes the rights of others. We may pause codes or accounts that violate this, and report abuse to the relevant authorities.

Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is". Scan links depend on chat-qr.com being reachable. We are not liable for indirect damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the site. Continued use means acceptance.
